Angela Cantu

Angela Cantu (she/they) graduated from UCSB in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Black Studies. Since then, Angela has worked at UCSB for over 3 years, gaining experience in administration, payroll, recruitment, and various financial services across different departments on campus. Angela is dedicated to streamlining financial operations for her team, providing a supportive environment for Black and Brown queer students, and advocating for staff needs in the face of rising living costs.

Additionally, Angela serves as an executive member of the UCSB staff organization, Young Professional Network (YPN). Outside of work, Angela is involved in various LGBTQ2IA+ organizations, pursues visual arts and music, and has a passion for fashion.
