A Bit about Me

My name is Katya Armistead, and I am the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Life and Belonging. I am starting my 34th year here at UCSB and am here to support you. I have my B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and my Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from UC Santa Girvertz Graduate School of Education. I was the advisor of the Black Student Union (BSU) for over ten years and continue to support them. I helped BSU organize three Afrikan Black Coalition (ABC) on our campus!
