Nathaniel Ilo

A Bit about Me

Nathaniel Ilo is the Admissions Counselor for Diversity Initiatives at UC Santa Barbara. He transferred to UCSB from Norco College where he was the President of the Umoja Community, a student leader. As a UCSB student, he has been a Diversity Intern in the office of Admissions for 3 years, held various other positions on campus, and built strong relationships with Community Based Organizations throughout California. Nathaniel is a founder, former president, and now advisor for the UCSB Umoja program. He was also responsible for reactivating the UCSB chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the first NPHC fraternity to be active on campus in almost a decade.
