Black Studies Major
CSA Vice President
Natasha Kamwendo

Hi, my name is Natasha, and I am a member of the CSA board. I am pursuing a Black Studies degree, and I am passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion on campus. When I'm not working or studying, you can usually find me with my nose buried in a good book. I love to read for fun and am always on the lookout for my next great read. When I'm not reading, I enjoy binge-watching my favorite shows. In addition to reading and binge-watching, I also love to listen to music. Whether cleaning the house, studying, or relaxing at home, I always have my favorite songs playing in the background. I was excited to join CSA because we are creating a diverse club on campus that allows students from different backgrounds to come together and learn about the Caribbean and its culture. We can promote tolerance and acceptance by fostering a community of inclusivity and understanding. Especially at a PWI where Black people often feel separated, a diverse club like CSA can serve as a beacon of hope and unity, bringing Black people from everywhere together in a shared pursuit of knowledge and friendship.
