Forward Ever, Backward Never

Isla Vista Recreation & Park District, in collaboration with UCSB Black Student Union and the Office of Black Student Development, is excited to announce the return of the Black History Month event, Forward Ever, Backward Never on Tuesday, February 27th from 4pm to 8pm in the Isla Vista Community Center. This event will feature live music by the Rakhas, spoken word performed by local poets, rock painting, Black history games, free food for Soul Bites Restaurant, a raffle, and a closing drum ceremony by Groupo Tolteka Izkalotl. This event is free admission and welcomes people of all ages.
